Over the past six years Cheeky Chilli has established itself as the sole caterers at a number of prestigious venues throughout the north west such as Delamere Manor, Cheshire Polo Club and Liverpool Town Hall. 

Most recently, Cheeky Chilli was awarded the North West Caterers of the Year at The English Wedding Awards.

The company pride themselves on their high standards of Food Service and Health and Safety.

At Cheeky Chilli we are more than just caterers. We will help you plan and manage your event every step of the way. We will enjoy working with you and believe it should be fun and enjoyable. Phil Williams
Head Chef

Phil has over 30 years experience in food and beverage areas. He has worked in New Orleans, Florida and Northern England and has progressed  from apprentice to restaurant owner. He loves to seek new challenges, to utilise his experience, skills and education in cooking.

Phil spent time working in hospitality at Walt Disney World, Florida before returning to North England where he opened The Marsh Cat Restaurant in Parkgate on Wirral. This successful venture led to him opening two more highly popular and successful restaurants in Hoylake, Wirral and Menai Bridge, Anglesey.

Phil has a team of chefs who work with him and have trained under his watchful eye for many years.

Together Phil and Kim make a perfect team to arrange your event. Their relaxed , friendly but thorough approach makes them a pleasure to work with. They want you to relax and sit back and most importantly enjoy your function whilst they do what they are best at.

Operations Director

Proclaimed events manager, Kim Maher, is a highly motivated professional who has 20 years experience in the events and catering industry. This is combined with a proven dedication along with a desire to provide consistent excellent service tailored to the needs of her clients.

Before setting up the company in April 2011, Kim spent 8 years as operations manager at Hillbark Hotel – a five star venue which achieved the following during her time spent there;

Best small luxury hotel in Merseyside, Cheshire Life hotel of the year , Cheshire Life Stylish hotel, Liverpool Style awards. She has also successfully hosted among others the following events; Juice FM Style awards 2011 and British Red Cross annual ball. She has also hosted private celebrations with acts such as Westlife.

One of Kim’s assets is her amicable and warm personality making any consultation a stress free and enjoyable experience for clients. Kim‘s passion shines through every event she manages from small intimate events to large award ceremonies for 600 guests.

The ‘Cheeky Chilli’ Team

The Cheeky Chilli team will listen and work with you to create an inspirational and unique style for your event. Knowing that every client is looking for something individual and special to them, the team will meet with you to discuss your vision for your event and make it a reality.

The Cheeky Chilli event team led by Kim are Natalie, Kerry, Edd, Steph, Jo and Vannessa all of whom are on hand to help plan and coordinate your event. Our Team of chefs are Phil , Becky and Tommy.

The Front of House team are a young, driven and enthusiastic group. Having worked together for a number of years their service is seamless, friendly and professional. Together they are a strong team of close friends with years of experience. Kim and Phil are very proud of their team and believe “you are only as good as the team around you”.

Cheeky Chilli does not use agency staff and always guarantees consistent service - smart in appearance in their Cheeky Chilli colours of black and red.

Health & Safety

Cheeky Chilli is committed to all aspects of Health and Safety Regulations. Our fully experienced team are all trained to the highest standard both by professional bodies and regular in house training. We ensure we review and implement current regulations and legislation at all times .

We have full Public Liability Insurance and always have a designated first aider present at every event we run. 

We ensure that the food served at your event is transported under strict temperature controlled conditions in refrigerated vans in accordance with The Food Hygiene Regulations 2006 and The Food Safety Act 1990.
